Carl's Corner: This retired teacher has dedicated this site to assist teachers in the area of reading, writing and poetry. This is an amazing site chock full of ideas, printables, and more!! Don't miss it!
Ms. Powell's Management Ideas for Teachers: This site was created to make your teaching life more efficient, effective, and ENJOYABLE. The Virtual Vine: The Virtual Vine is a resource for Early Childhood teachers, preschool through second grade. It's a site filled with ideas and activities to make teaching and learning FUN through themes and units, displays, literacy and math connections. Reading Answers: While teaching is perhaps the most noble profession of all, teachers nowadays are under enormous pressure and scrutiny. K-12 Station: Here's another site that has lots of curriculum links for K-12. K-2 WebQuests: Lots of good WebQuests covering lots of topics appropriate for K-2 students. Check it out! SuccessLink: This is a Missouri education site that offers many science and math lessons. You are even encouraged to submit your own lessons aligned with the Missouri standard. There are lots of good resources available through this site including Best Teaching Practices and MAP Performance Based Assessment Modules. KidsKonnect.com: Lots of kid-safe links that are in an alphabetical listing by topics. Very beneficial if you are looking for some good sites to use in the classroom. Classroom Connect:An excellent resource for teachers wanting to use the Internet in their classrooms. A to Z Teacher Stuff:Online lesson plans, teacher resources, links, and book activities. Surfing the Net with Kids:An excellent resource to find sites that have been reviewed for you to safely use in the classroom. |
